Lead, facilitate or support resolution to problems using progressive problem solving techniques and statistical methodology.
Work with the Manufacturing and Product Engineers to develop solid corrective actions to eliminate the non-conformance identified. (Corrective actions must include some mistake proofing to prevent recurrence.)
Responsible for area quality metrics, data collection and analysis.
Monitor key process parameters (such as rework and scrap) to isolate problem areas and correct the potential for escapes and waste.
Lead and support Quality Clinic (immediate response MRB) activities.
Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and effect of process changes.
Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
Daily interaction with operators and supervision to identify and improve product and process quality.
Perform internal and/or supplier quality audits.
Oversight and training of quality related process and systems.

4 year degree and ASQ certifications with prior aerospace industry experience preferred.
