  • Description

    • Provide Direct support for AS9100 Quality Management System
    • Perform process analysis and improvement analysis
    • Receive and handle product returned by customer and perform failure analysis functions to determine root cause of reported failure modes; provide comprehensive reports for customer detailing investigation findings
    • Review customer requirements, industry specifications and standards to ensure product and process compliance
    • Perform audits of internal processes to AS9100/ISO-9001 and NADCAP standards
    • Support root cause and corrective action functions utilizing 8D methodology
    • Perform product or process defect analysis and issue associated reports
    • Collect, summarize and correlate quality data and metrics or submittal to customers, vendors and/or management
    • Support and respond to external, customer regulatory and/or FAA inquiries
    • Perform Process and product risk assessments
    • Support efforts related to First Article Inspection and PPAP


    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality or related field is preferred.  AS at minimum is required
    • Experience/familiarity with AS9100/IS)9001 quality standards
    • Familiarity in Aerospace manufacturing processes and requirements
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power-Point, Excel)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Familiarity with and understanding of aerospace bearing materials and machining processes
    • Inspection and test methodologies preferred
    • Proficient at blueprint reading, engineering drawing interpretation and tolerances
    • Highly self-motivated with demonstrated problem solving skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to details
