Description

DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for compiling design data for finished ball and roller bearing product. Component drawings and assembly instructions are the expected outputs. Computer skills are absolutely necessary, and programming skills could be beneficial in the development of applications for design. We are looking for a motivated individual who works well in a team and with other departments. Good communication skills, sound logic, and strong attention to detail are expected.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design bearing components and assemblies to satisfy customer requirements and NHBB standards
  • Modify existing designs to current standards
  • Interpret customer specifications & drawings
  • Update and maintain Engineering Data in the ERP system (AS400 & MAPICS)
  • Participate in design application development

  

 

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Associates or Bachelors Degree in a Technical Field
  • Computer Skills: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, Programming is a plus (VB, VBA, C#, etc.)
  • Other Skills: Blueprint interpretation & GD&T knowledge
  • Experience: Ball/Roller Bearing experience is a plus
