NHBB is seeking a Senior Buyer to join our Purchasing Team.
The Senior Buyer will be responsible for meeting the department and company’s financial goals, including cost savings and purchase price variance. The ideal candidate will have the demonstrated ability to develop strategic supplier relationships including working closely with support groups to improve cost, quality, delivery and other key performance metrics. Responsible for creating purchase orders from requisitions, MRP and outside process flow downs. Create, track, manage, evaluate and award bids. Purchase goods and services in accordance with NHBB policies. Understand and be able to work under import and export compliance regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills and be able to adapt to changing business conditions.
High School diploma or equivalent
Directly related experience as a buyer is required
