We are looking for a hands-on engineer to support and develop processes used to manufacture ball and roller bearing races and cages.  In this position you will support turning, grinding, milling, honing, tumble, cleaning, and other operations.  You will experiment with process variables to optimize process capability, develop and document engineered machining processes, specify grinding wheels, cutting tools, speeds, and feeds, develop handling methods and equipment to minimize part damage, and solve day to day manufacturing issues. 



  • Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related)- required
  • Directly related machining experience
  • CNC turning experience preferred
  • Hands-on approach; adept at working with other engineers, technicians and machinists in solving problems and documenting solutions
  • Experience in mechanical design using Solidworks™ or similar solid models software is required
  • Team player, results driven, strong communication skills


Preferred qualifications include:

  • CNC programming experience
  • Demonstrated experience in applying Design of Experiments to solve manufacturing issues, six sigma green or black belt training
  • Experience in risk reduction analysis
  • Experience in PLC Programming
