Position Summary


Create routings and process sheets/prints for bearing component manufacturing and assembly operations. Provide information to manufacturing including methods, grind wheels, tooling, and sequence of operations. Provide input for new product review and development. Work with quality personnel, gaging personnel, applications/product engineering, manufacturing engineering, and manufacturing personnel to develop efficient manufacturing methods.



Position Duties and Responsibilities



  1. Specify manufacturing methods including speeds, feeds and other information required to manufacture product per industry and company standards and guidelines.
  2. Create process prints/dimension sheets for use in a manufacturing environment. Flow down information for offsets and tolerance required to manufacture product per industry and company guidelines. Use of programs including Excel and Access to create and maintain information required.
  3. Create detailed manufacturing routings to provide required information to manufacture product.
  4. Specify grind wheels and tooling using industry and company guidelines and programs. Includes involvement with maintaining and updating of programs used to calculate and provide required information for manufacturing.
  5. Maintain and revise documentation per requirements and improvements to process methods.
  6. Involvement with continuous improvement projects and initiatives to improve process flow.




BS degree in engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience in a manufacturing methods role

Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience working with Solidworks, Autocad, Excel and Access software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Able to multi-task and has demonstrated ability to work with a cross functional team.


Physical Requirements Manufacturing environment – must be able to lift 30lbs.
