Under general direction, is responsible for facilitating all aspects of the recruitment process to ensure an effective recruitment program and for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. Develops recruiting plans, employs traditional sourcing strategies, social media and resources as well as develop new, creative, recruiting ideas. Plays a critical role in ensuring NHBB is hiring the best possible talent. Networks through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees. Coordinates and implements college, local area schools and recruiting initiatives. Responsible for developing relationships with schools at all levels and administrative duties and recordkeeping. Work closely with divisional trainer on new hire orientation/training and on various retention initiatives, including exit interviews. Primary Duty

Develops and executes recruiting plans by working with hiring managers on recruiting planning meetings, creating individualized job postings, leading the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position, efficiently and effectively filling open positions, conducting regular follow-up, with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation, developing a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need. Researching and recommending new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting, building network to find qualified passive candidates.


Responsible for posting job openings with appropriate recruiting avenues, social media, newspaper advertisement, professional organizations, utilizing Internet for recruitment and sourcing candidates for hourly and salaried positions.

Create an onboarding program to include with training and retention program


Create network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees by locating and documenting where to find ideal candidates, aiding public relations in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company, both internally and externally, communicating with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads, creating contacts within industry, attending local professional meeting and membership development meeting and maintaining regular contact with future candidates.


Cooridinates and implements college, technical schools and professional recruiting initiatives by coordinating college, internships, apprenticeships, professional association and job fair recruiting initiatives, attending career fairs for recruiting and company recognition, developing working relationships with technical trade schools, colleges, professional associations etc. to aid in recruiting, giving presentations at colleges, job fairs, etc. creating awarenss of the company before and after career fairs.


Conduct exit interviews and develop and work on retention initiatives from data received

BA/BS degree in related field (or equivalent education, training and/or experience) required.

EXPERIENCE: Please describe the work experience or skills necessary to perform job duties.

At least 3-5 years recruitment experience, which includes at least 2 years ‘experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems, as well as local market
  • Ability to work with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making consistent with departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of independence and prioritize own workflow.
  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
  • Excellent computer skills, Knowledge of ADP, iCims, and HRIS other platforms.
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
  • Ability to travel to job fairs, college visits, career fairs
  • Must be able to identify resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Gather and analyze data and information skillfully
