Description

This position is responsible for developing, evaluating and recommending new processes and/ or equipment. Position requires a thorough understanding of the metal working industry as it relates to turning, milling and grinding, and related tooling and fixturing.  Position requires an individual who can work independently as well as within teams, and possess the ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously.  

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Develop, evaluate, and recommend new processes and/or equipment to support strategic objectives within the Advanced Manufacturing (AME) Engineering group
  • Lead/support technical initiatives and/or tasks
  • Provide a high level of service and professionalism to our customers
  • Work directly with customers on testing, development and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MSME degree(Preferred), or BSME with a minimum 3 years in manufacturing engineering or R&D engineering
  • Background in FEA, vibration/temperature analysis, data acquisition, control systems
  • Background in automation &  machine design
  • Background in data and statistical analysis
  • Rolling element bearing design, manufacturing, failure analysis, and/or testing a plus
  • Team player, results driven, strong communication
  • PowerPoint/Word/Excel, SolidWorks
  • Some travel (outside NH) required, both domestic and abroad.
