In this position, the selected candidate will be responsible for:


  • Perform continual improvement projects and data trend analysis, as assigned.
  • Investigate root cause analysis and assist in the resolution of issues relative to product and process quality.
  • Assist with control plans, capability studies, gage studies, & PFMEA’s.
  • Support company process owners and user to drive Quality improvement.
  • Identify, monitor, and react to NHBB metrics (Scrap, Rework, DMR’s). Assist with the development of action plans to improve performance and ensure achievement of goals.
  • Developing and implementation of internal documents such as standard operating procedures, quality instructions, and IMS.
  • Perform internal quality audits.
  • Training and support on new quality initiatives.
  • Communication with mostly internal groups, but some customer interaction may occur.
  • Develop and implement Quality Strategies within NHBB to improve performance, reduce cost, and increase customer satisfaction
  • Represent Quality in NHBB meetings and reviews to ensure considerations for quality performance are included in making decisions.


  • Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 required.
  • Five years experience in quality or manufacturing field.
  • Ability to use Microsoft office programs, with intermediate or better Excel and Access.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
